Dear Artists,
Faith Ringgold has selected the theme of "It’s 2019: I Can Dream Can’t I?" for this years auction.
Faith Ringgold has selected the theme of "It’s 2019: I Can Dream Can’t I?" for this years auction.
Themed art works should be; original 2-D, 11x14 or 16 x 20 and unframed. ACFF volunteers will mat your unframed works. This year small 3D works (less than 8 inches in any direction) are called for. We ask that themed art works are a 100% donation. The themed artwork will be included in a silent auction with a starting bid of $45.00. If works are not sold Artist should collect the work after the auction. Use the themed work form for a themed donation.
We want your beautiful original art that is not related to the theme too. Works not related to the theme should be, original, 2-D, 20 x 32 or smaller and ready to hang. Please use the general donation form for this donation. The artist is responsible for shipping, pick-up, etc. The proceeds from the sale of a a work will be shared with you (50%) on a general non-themed donation if you make that request on your form (your option). The deadline for submission of all work is mail in entires should arrive by Fri., March 22, 2019 you also have the option to drop off artwork on Wed, March 27, 2019.
Send the actual work as soon as you are ready but no later than March 22. Label every art work and include a hard copy of the donation form with the work. In addition please email a photo of the art and a digital copy of a donation form for each work submitted to Ringgoldfaith@aol.com. This way we can prepare a database of the art for sale. Send art to: Barbara Wallace at 10 West 135th Street, 11-S New York NY 10037 phone 347 573-0528. Please let Barbara know that you've sent the art so she can watch for it and so that she can confirm receipt.

Wed, March 27 and 28, 2019. Call Grace at 858 735-0687 to set up and confirm drop off.
