October 11, 2007 New York City. Faith Ringgold’s Anyone Can Fly Foundations’ annual art exhibition and fundraising event will be hosted by ACA Gallery, located at 529 West 20th Street, 5th floor in NYC 10011 on October 11, 2008 from 6pm until 9pm. A $ 40 donation will be requested at the door.
This years auction is a great opportunity to build your art collection with “Passion” the theme of this years auction. The bidding will start at just $25. A variety of works from artists that support the ACFF. Special discount prices on choice works of art will be offered during this three hour special event.
All funds generated from this event supports the foundation’s mission to expand the art establishment's canon to include artists of the African Diaspora and to introduce the Great Masters of African American Art and their art traditions to kids as well as adult audiences. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported by people devoted to the visual arts.
